The Way of Truth

By the pow’rful hand of God
All creation received its form.
Man, to sin, fell in the garden,
What was good now needs pardon.

Man seeks in desperation
to find reconciliation
With great despair man finds no peace
Man finds nothing but defeat.

But God, in all His Sovereignty
Planned a way for man’s redeem;
It is Christ, God’s only Son
Whose precious blood sets captives free.

Now man, by way, not his own
Approaches boldly to the throne;
Based in a Name not his own
The Name of Jesus leads us home.
